Draw for Arab Cup 2025 and FIFA U-17 World Cup Set for Sunday

Doha, May 20 (QNA) – The Local Organizing Committee announced that the official draw for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 and the FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place this Sunday, marking a significant step in preparations for the two major tournaments.
The draw ceremony will feature prominent football stars from Qatar, the region, and around the world.
Sixteen teams will compete in the Arab Cup, scheduled for December 1–18. Nine teams, including host nation Qatar and reigning champion Algeria, have automatically qualified based on FIFA rankings. The remaining seven spots will be decided through qualifiers in November.
The 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be historic, featuring an expanded format with 48 teams playing 104 matches over 25 days. Qatar will host this edition as well as the next four tournaments through 2029.
