Gaza, May 20 (NQA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 53,573, with 121,688 wounded since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources.
Since the resumption of attacks on March 18, following a ceasefire, 3,427 people have been killed and 9,647 injured. In the past 24 hours alone, 87 more were killed and 290 wounded. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or in unreachable areas due to continued bombardment.
Medical sources told the Palestinian News Agency that the death toll includes 3,427 martyrs and 9,647 injuries since March 18, when the occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.
Over the past 24 hours, 87 martyrs and 290 wounded have arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals as a result of the ongoing Israeli massacres and attacks. A number of victims remain buried under the rubble and debris, and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.
